IDM or not, this is what I'm rockin' out to at the moment...
Sade - Love Deluxe - is there a sexier voice anywhere?
Al Green - Live in Tokyo - in his day, Al Green was by far the biggest pimp
in the galaxy...and then he found God.
Push Button Objects - 360 degree remixes - awww yeeaah!
Norken - Soul Static Bureau - Lee Noris at his minimal, glitchy best
Smashing Pumpkins - Gish - rediscovered this album after about 10 years -
excellent early stuff
Renku - ? - I have no idea were it came from, but I received an unmarked
package in the mail the other day with no return address and the shuffling
funk dynamics of this disc have got me hooked. Nice stuff whoever you are.
Zion I - deepwaterslang - had these cats out for a show and they absolutely
rocked it. Fractured breaks, early 90's d 'n b, and conscious lyrical
content with a southern twist - truly unique. You're welcome Steve!
Baby Ford and the Ifach Collective - the new double EP is gravy, baby. As
forceful and driving as minimal Detroit techno can get. Lovely,
Okay, so I guess after looking back on the list there really isn't anything
"IDM", but we're all open-minded people here, correct?
J~
