I totally agree. My "legit" comment was made with a heavy dose of sarcasm. This has to be one of the worst articles I have ever read. Sampling hasn't been an "issue" since the early '90s. Yeah, I loved that part. Also 'several people known as Digital Cutup Lounge.' There's only two of us! To be fair, the CNN reporter we talked to usually covers e-business stories...however, we were a bit disappointed in how this came out. The original idea was to talk about how the Internet is enabling new forms of musical collaboration and creativity, but in the end it just became another 'sampling is theft' piece...
