i second the below opinion. been listening to hood for a few weeks now.
'effortless' and 'natural' are nice and good adjectives for 'cold house'.
the album just flows along.
i'm all for the indie/idm fusion thing, myself. i've been into both kinds
of music for a long time...the hood album, dntel's 'life is full of
possibilities', casiotone for the painfully alone's 'pocket symphonies for
lonesome subway cars'.... it's good to see the streams crossed in this
way. anyone come across anything similar...?
and on the OT tip, like hiphop? aesop rock is completely rocking this
boat. damn. 'labor days', A+
