hey all,
just a quick note - latest release on net.mp3.label Monotonik is a track
from the UK's Xela, "Rainy Afternoons". Xela has an album forthcoming on the
ever-divine Neo-Ouija, plus material on Musik Aus Strom and Merck,
apparently, and "Rainy Afternoons" is a reallynice ambient vs. directed
static piece of melodic idm-ish.. oh, you know, it's neat :P
go grab at:

regards,
h0l.
ps - just so i'm not all spam and no usefulness, try out:
http://www.vorc.org/en/
..for size. It's a _really_ neat Japanese-run news site which looks at 'chip
music' (everything from C64, through NES, to .MODs and beyond.)
a lot of this stuff is really difficult to keep track of, cos it's all on
very self-contained niche scenes, so it's cool of Hally@Vorc to put it all
together. His 'best of 2001' article at:
http://www.vorc.org/en/columns/hally/2001best10e.html
..is interesting too, and ok, you sussed me, it has got Monotonik-related
stuff in it, but i'm just a fan of the artists like he is, so i'm sure
nobody cares that much :P gotta dig talent, however it's presented.
