I'm looking for IDM labels and artists who produce music still coherent enough for mortals too dance to. (I like the spastic stuff of course...) So far stuff on the obvious labels is all I can find, skam, MAS, and of course Warp. Can people recomend and other labels that have good quality IDM in this vein? honestly, most of the idm i get into is danceable on some level, although abstract. i started writing up a list but its pretty freaking huge. of course i like to dance to vsnares and otto von shirach stuff too. it really depends on what kind of dancin' is at your core - like hiphopish stuff electro house drum + bass because there's stuff discussed on the IDM list that hits from any of those angles... - cutups ----- Original Message ----- From: "i" <interdit@yahoo.com> To: <rob@sleep-dream-die.com>; <idm@hyperreal.org> Sent: Monday, January 14, 2002 7:55 PM Subject: Re: [idm] Danceable IDM on vinyl.
