I realize that Jetone is not such a familiar name around here, but I thought it was worth discussing the new album. I was amazed to find that the new album Ultramarin is a complete genre shift from Ultramarin. From glitchy, moody and random beat patterns to what I would call minimal house. I think the new album is alright and pleasant to listen to, but in my opinion is a complete regression from Autumnmonia. This album maintains the same bpm through just about every track, with no evidence of a break. It's not really inventive by any means. If you're not paying close attention, you'd think it was just one long track. I had thought that Autumnmonia was a great debut release with indications of a great future. I'm not sure why he has gone of on this tangent. It is on a different label, which may explain part of that, but maybe it's just the fact that the two albums were recorded under the same alias while possessing completely different musical interests. Any thoughts?
