yes - I have many thoughts from both (or all) angles - from compassion, to
the US oppression of the world, to barbarism - too many thoughts and doubts
and fears to be willing to pick at every argument cropping up here on this
list...
but I am willing to speak on music and art - and my feeling is, was and will
be that the groups of people making music, poetry, etc. will and should be
the first to be concerned and aware about situations like this - art is
life, it is the transcendance of things, and one responsibility I feel in
matters like this is to use the energy that creates and is created in my art
to put forth a transcendance, a peace, a love, and a comfort into the
universal consciousness - I'm not incredibly political, and I don't write
poetry or music inspired directly by the mundane world, but drastic change,
upheaval, destruction like this, happening in the mundane world then becomes
a thing of the magical realm, and I'll be putting a lot more magic toward
compassion for all involved in the next day or so, this includes my upcoming
performances and sessions, and bits of help at least are here at
aaron@nquit.com if anyone can actually use it
