I noticed that on a majority of the albums I have listened to that track 7(on releases with 7 or more tracks, of course) is (almost)always the stand out track. Is this coincidental or do artists do this for a specific reason? I know I sound crazy as a fucking loon, but I find it strange that my favorite track is usually track 7. In the pre-CD days, track one of side two was always known as the "sweet spot" in the pop record industry, where your smashingest hit should be placed. If you average out six songs per side, then track 7 would be the corresponding track. Speaking of trak 7... Does anybody know something about track 7 on Surfing on Sinewaves (Polygon Window) ???
