(I may have some of that in the wrong order) I was blown away by it, having thought (like yourself) that I probably didn't need to hear any more from them. I sent a gushing comment to this list at the time I first picked it up, and I still get excited _thinking_about_ listening to it. A thrill of anticipation is not something I get regularly from electronic stuff. If you're referring to 'Improvisors' or something I guess I have to check that out too. :-)" I would like to order this cd at www.thrilljockey.com , and i want to order one Oval cd , could someone give me recommendation to the one i have to take. Improvisors is the live vinyl-only lp from Microstoria. Wonderful stuff in line with the Model 3, Step 2 release you've been enjoying. But dont confuse Improvisors with Reprovisors. Reprovisors is the Microstoria remix album which features remixes by Mouse on Mars, Oval, FX Randomiz, Stereolab, Jim O'Rourke, Christophe Charles, Ui, C-Schulz & Hajsch, and Christoph Heemann amongst others. Some of the mixes are radical reworkings reflecting the styles of the remixers while others are similar to the Microstoria originals. Overall it's not a bad release but i much prefer listening to Microstoria's more melodic hypnotic releases such as _SND, Init Ding, or Model 3 Step 2 albums.

Order either Systemisch or Diskont94. Both show the more melodic looped-based side of Oval as opposed to the more abrasive sounds of more recent Oval releases. -- -->-Lance---- PO Box 450715 Westlake, OH 44145 United States --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: idm-unsubscribe@hyperreal.org For additional commands, e-mail: idm-help@hyperreal.org

Popp had some talented partners in music then... and "94 diskont" is great too. have a nice day. philippe BiP-HOp Generation v. 3 [bleep 05] The series is truly a document of today's creative forms of Electronica. 14 exclusive songs, musically packed with almost 80 minutes, the composers are each given much longer amounts of time to showcase their talent. Even for those who think there should be a moratorium on Electronica compilations, this is worth checking out.
