Just picked these up yesterday: one old ('97), and one
older('73), but maybe some of you havnt heard them yet
so i thought id reveiw them
moodymann - silent introduction
a deep groover. looped to infinity disco, funk and
jazz samples, sometimes with quasi-ambient synth
washes and eq tweaks. superiour minimal detroit house.
check it out it you havent already.
can - future days
ive had tago mago for ages but i only just got around
to buying this one, WELL worth it. Complex, epic
rhythmic jams. A track influenced by it from IDM
circles would be the original mix of pub's summer, but
Can achieves FAR more depth and humanity. standout
track- the final one, bel air, intense trance inducing
passages plus atmospheric sounds and subtle synth
string sweeps combinig to make a highly cinematic and
evocative song.
