Sweeps Week, but this officially falls under the category of "I'll believe
it when I see it" for me.

Get ready kids. The millenium now has a theme, and it
is electronica. Word in today that Electronica's
golden children, Autechre and Richard D. James (Aphex
Twin) are working on a new collaborative effort, to be
released later this year. The release will coincide
with the UK label Warp Records' yearly October party
in London, where the trio will perform their new work
live together. Support is to be found in the form of
at least one Squarepusher remix, and a possibility
that some favourite "skamsters" may be involved as
well. Details to follow.
