Subject: [idm] I remixed IDM and all i got was this T-shirt
On the T-Shirts thread:
Last month at the SINFest, I was joking with various label friends
that I ought to make a template that says, "I REMIXED..."
across the top and "...AND ALL I GOT WAS THIS T-SHIRT" at the
bottom so I could print the words around all the label T-Shirts
for labels which I'd gotten to do. They all had cool shirts for
sale at the show and I could have collected them for this, actually
I'm still hoping, in the mail maybe...? (hint hint) ;> I did get
free cds, thanx... I'm appreciative, but I'd love more STUFF!
Of course, later could be the "I REMIXED MY OWN ALBUM AND ALL I GOT
WAS 5 COPIES WELL AFTER THE SHELF-LIFE HAD PASSED".
...hmm, then maybe "I REMIXED BJORK AND ALL I GOT WAS A BACKSTAGE PASS"
BTW, Ian Schoales had a great monologue on t-shirts in the 80's in
his book:
