I'm listening to the Tresor CD 149 Dream Sequence by Blake Baxter. Who dubbed him (no pun intended) "The Prince of Techno"? I like the light texture of the work. Anybody know anything about him? mediadrome --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: idm-unsubscribe@hyperreal.org For additional commands, e-mail: idm-help@hyperreal.org

Blake Baxter is a longtime Detriot techno producer who's released almost 50 eps and albums on a variety of labels including Underground Resistance, Disko B, Tresor, Incognito, ESP, Logic, R&S, Red Zone, KMS, Music Man, Ultimatium Trax to name just a few. "The Prince of Techno" was the title of one of his early releases on the Underground Resistance label and the name was supposedly due to his use of explicit lyrics in some of his tracks much in the same way Prince (or Artists Formerly Known As Prince) did in his early days. -->-Lance---- PO Box 450715 Westlake, OH 44145 United States --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: idm-unsubscribe@hyperreal.org For additional commands, e-mail: idm-help@hyperreal.org
