yesterday someone mentioned the new Missy Elliot single and video. I got to hear/see it this morning on MTV (oddly enough they play some of their best videos in the morning) and I have to say though the beats are kinda standard, if they stood alone they'd be along the same lines as the Four Tet vs Pole stuff (though Four Tet has said he's gotten a lot of influence from Timbaland lately). About half way through the song the beats get a bit darker, and I must say the hopes of just a beat driven remix on vinyl leaped into my mind.
