I guess indeed that you already have seen the «*jack*» word on numerous occasions. That said, to me, the *Djax Up Beats* label name sounds like some obvious phonetic digression from that «*Jack the bass*» vocal. I recall an interview from the early 2000s wherein Serge (the fellow behind Clone/Djak-Up-Bitch) had a rather unfavorable perspective of Miss Saskia and named his label accordingly.I was trying to dig up the source but it may have been one of those papery-printed things. All Djax confusion aside for me, I gave the new Kettel album sampler on Soundcloud a proper listen today and I must say I am now hyped on this. I felt some massive summertime vibes from this.
