Naw, I disagree.
As someone who regularly posts my playlists, I can say they
are useful to
others in that many people have contacted me off-list to say
they are
impressed with it or at least are interested in mailing me
some music
(either their own or on their label usually) so that I might
get it on the
air for all of Los Angeles to hear.
And I may or may not be totally behind the times, but not
everybody has
their own website! My station has one, but it's totally low
budget and
woefully out of date.
Secondarily, these playlists are a good indicator as to
what's out.
New topic-
I saw a couple cd singles from Laurent Gaurnier recently-
The Man with the
Red Face and the Sound of Big Babou. I love both of the
album versions of
those and was wondering if these had remixes on them or
whatnot.
