MTV has always used IDM and various obscure label tracks/music in
backdrops. What's worst about MTV is they know better, but don't make any
effort.One of the worst forms of laziness-if you ask me. They are known for
being cheap when it comes to hiring production (most of their stuff is done
by freelancers or out of house) and using their power to undermine laws and
authority. This summer they were using Planet E tracks left and right -with
out the label's permission.
How about that shampoo commercial with the blond (from ally mcbeal)- it
uses a loop from the Tosca album.

There's a new toyota add with what sounds like Squarepusher or someone
similar.(can't think of any one) Also, has anyone noticed the in-house music
that M-TV of all places is using? Idm is being noticed certainly and I can
see the artists starting to recoil.
