Maybe to do with the fact that Aphex, Calvin Harris and Paris Hilton will all make a bomb this year releasing music and or DJing.
Everyone else will pretty much lose money...
Must say I do find myself finding the Wire less and less useful, possibly only the reviews and jukebox feature I consistently read now.
But I have a feeling its more me than them...what with age an all.

The review claims "Electronic music is now more aesthetically and economically segmented than ever[...]" at the very end. Is this really true? Aren't most new releases now some strain of house, techno or bass music? Or maybe idm. I have no idea what "economically segmented" means.
