yeah i have to say that jan (farben, gramm) is one of the top talents
in the "next wave" of psuedointellectual dance music ... i caught him,
burnt friedmann and pole here in chicago a while back and it was one of
the most stimulating, *danceable* and delightfully non-post-autechre shows
i have been to.
it seems like most of the best stuff coming out these days is coming out
of germany or u.s.a, finally breaking the warp/astralworks stranglehold
that was quickly stagnating the genre ... definitely looking forward to
more stuff from ~scape and the other deutsche power-hausen (brinkmann,
voight, um... oh wait ... they're all brinkmann and voight)...
cheers
josh
