word,
I have found a lot of good records at the "Cisco" in Shinjuku, is right
outside the shinjuku station atop a rather large and annoying shopping mall.
watchout for the kogals milling. It is near a "dj" shop near the top.
Another good bet is any of the "Disk Union" stores. They have various
places in and around tokyo, but i think the best one is located in Shibuya.
They have the best selection of used wax ive ever looked thru. I found a few
older worm interface records for 100yen (1$US), as well as mad
rephlex, warp, force inc, mille plateaux, etc. take the time to search the
large bins, they usually have a few worth looking for. The "techno and
house" cisco in shibuya has a respectable selection of idm-ish records. the
rough trade in Shinjuku is always a good bet. the address is on their
website.
a search on google.com turns up a few address lists, i used "tokyo record
shops".
good luck, so much good music to be had in tokyo!
best
