Hmm, it appears I got this too. Nice packaging. Haven't listened to it yet, as I've been busy tonight and I'm listening to Papas Fritas right now, but I will ASAP. :) Why do you people send me stuff, especially when you've got it together enough to whip something up like Tadd Mullinix or Kumquat? PS. Ben Hatchelt's stuff is good too. Though I haven't had time to really listen to it a few more times and get a good consideration on it. PPS. New up and coming beverage: cranberry juice. It fucking rules. And no, I don't have any health problems. I like the taste. --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: idm-unsubscribe@hyperreal.org For additional commands, e-mail: idm-help@hyperreal.org

i prefer those 100% juice mixes with cranberry juice. like cranberry apple pineapple, or peach cranberry. mmmm.. just mix three juices together and it's bliss... and no i'm NOT talking about those stupid "cocktails" you can buy in the cheap-ass juice isle, either. my girlfriend claims to like cranberry juice as well, because she claims it's "smoother" than other juices. is this true? i personally think that apple juice is the "smooth" juice and that cranberry juice, although soft, tends to feel "thicker". obviously a nice feeling, no doubt, but i don't think it fits into the "smooth" category. although a cranberry smoothy would be tops, i'm sure. does anyone have the approx cost for the coldcut tour? show times? right now all we have are dates, which are nice, but more info is always appreciated :) cheers, /derek ----------- "Extremism is no vice when God's on your side" -Opus the Penguin --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: idm-unsubscribe@hyperreal.org For additional commands, e-mail: idm-help@hyperreal.org

Whatever it is, I'm sure it will be as brilliant and pioneering as the last round of flavors this company crafted. Jesus Christ... Craisins! um what i meant to say was ... when a large corporation drops boucoups dough on a musician to simply allow them the right to play 15 seconds of a track on their teevee commercial, i think it's a great way to convert a small amount of credibility into a huge amount of equipment and high-fashion trousers. of course you always run the risk of becoming known as "the band that did that 'da da da' song" or whatever, but i gotta say ... the dollars that these ad firms will pay for the rights to a song is pretty amazing. sellout whore (oh i wish), josh -- String Theory : Digital Music for Humans http://www.enteract.com/~yoshi/index.cgi On Tue, 19 Sep 2000, Josh Davison wrote:

Exactly. I think all the people who arent musicians definitely can't understand this. It's not easy for people making "non-commercial" music to make a good living unless they market themselves. This isn't to say you have to sell yourself to f'n McDonalds, but I just mean that it's really about survival. Fucking AFX sold his music to commercials - would he be considered a "sellout"? Either way, it doesn't subtract anything away from his music does it? He still makes amazing stuff whether he a "sellout" or not. I'd be a sell-out for that much money. Call me a rich sellout. Doot doot doot. :) Honestly i can't get enough of people saying that they "sell-out" because someone's offerred them a lot of money. Hell, I even like coke. I'd be all about it. So what if more than 5 people will know who Amon Tobin is now. Uh oh, maybe even 100 people will know who he is. Watch it, he won't be cool anymore. </sarcasm> Not to be directed at andrei, but it was just a general rant that i needed to get out regarding the word "sell-out". -michelle ----- Original Message ----- From: <andrei@world.std.com> To: <idm@hyperreal.org> Sent: Tuesday, September 19, 2000 3:39 AM Subject: [idm] Amon Tobin & Coke
