Had it for a month now, and it's still one of the best surprises of the year! Anyone who wasn't conviced by their first records should lend an ear to that one : electro beat & breaks... 19 tracks of fresh dancefloor music... Of course it has other uses & purepose than just dancing, but I think it's gonna rave;) A much better record than the Mira Calix, Jaimie Hodges, Red Snapper records... Mira Calix's Peel Session's got one good track ("She keeps her secrets"), but still no match for her Worm Interface entry... C'mon Warp! Bring us BOC, Prefuse 73 and Dick Devine!!! _________________________________________________________________________ Get Your Private, Free E-mail from MSN Hotmail at http://www.hotmail.com. So - Has anybody here actually *heard* the new Two Lone Swordsmen record "Tiny Reminders"? Nate Harrison, I know you're a huge TLS head - anything to report? This NME review makes it sound damn good....but I've been burned too many times by favorable big-press reviews to take it without a massive grain of salt. thanks, BVL http://www.chromedecay.org Matt Anderson wrote:

yeah.. had one for a few weeks.. and it hasn't grown on me one bit (i thought it would).. i haven't listened closely enough to want to review it, but it's dancefloorness is really too much.. it is minimal but feels far too samey. gimmie a new aphex album any day of the week.. and file this one away for a rainy day. i'll give you more of a proper report tomorrow if i can as i am going to see them tonight... tomx --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: idm-unsubscribe@hyperreal.org For additional commands, e-mail: idm-help@hyperreal.org
