..but i LOVE them. surprised to see a post for them here. i won't go so far out to say that i listen to all kinds of music, in my own mind i believe that, but i work in a cd shoppe so i know better. but i listen to tons of techno and braindance and d+b and indie rock and loud rock and slow rock and whatever.,and i love trans am. i love instrumental music, done well. they are cheesy too, which i also love, (done correctly). ok. that is all i have to say, oh and, to the originator of this topic, if you think trans am is the best 'idm' you have heard, you need to check out lunatic harness, music has the right to children, or the richard james album, among many. that is all. -k __________________________________________________ Do You Yahoo!? Yeah, that's kind of where I'm at. Just really leaning toward the IDM/Electronic side. Only recently have I gotten into the 'indie rokers with keyboards' thing. (al a tortoise)

NO NO, I siad that I felt their electronic stuff was equal to much of what I know in the IDM world. It was more a matter of saying that while Trans Am doesn't position themselves as an 'IDM' group (whatever that means), that their electronic stuff stands up to a lot of stuff that's out there. I've been into electonric stuff for a long, long time, and only recently have turned on to TA and other artists in a similar vein. By no means do I feel they are the 'best IDM I've heard'.
