I caught most of this show at the Knitting Factory last night and it was pretty impressive. (did anyone else on the list attend? it would have been nice to meet some of you.) i wanted to enjoy the show so I didn't take any notes. so from what I recall: Laptops abound not to mention a pikachu with headphones ;) the kracfive krew put on good laptop set that seemed at least partially improvised and came complete w/audience participation... missed zamutto (sorry!)... marumari was really good, seemed like everything was presequenced but the music was so good it didn't really matter.. nice LOUD melodic AI era IDM. cex was fucking nuts! we'll leave it at that. kid606 was good despite some laptop problems... he was up to his usual dsp/glitch madness. highlight was a mangling of that thong song but I had to cut out early. so catch the tour if you have a chance! you'll def. get your $$ worth. The only artists on the bill who were actually touring together were Marumari and Kracfive, the others just met them in NYC for last night's show. And it was the last date on the (rather short) tour.
