Vote Robot is a canadian duo who produce a wonderful mix

On a related Vote Robot note...
Glad someone mentioned the French Paddleboat release because it
is an excellent but little known treasure that was released last
month. French Paddleboat is the guise of Scott August who is ½
of the excellent Vote Robot duo. The Conversions in Metric cd,
on Canadian Scratch label, is the first French Paddleboat cd after
two excellent cassette-only releases on the Granted Passage
label. Anyway, the sound of the Conversions in Metric cd is
an excellent mix of poppy electronica with just a touch of
experimental glitchy electronics proding a nice Isan vs Oval
sound. Recommended.
