Tanzmuzik are indeed still producing music but more in the techno/tech-house/hard house style. With their newest album (which actually came out in early '99) Tanzmuzik return to the Sublime label. You may or may not remember that Sublime released their first album, entitled Scratches, back in '94 when Tanzmuzik were known as Akio/Okihide. Anyway, since the Tanzmuzik album last year there have been two remix 12"s also on Sublime featuring mixes by Derrick Carter, Patrick Pulsinger, Akio Milan Paak, Mustang, and Rei Harakami. One-half of Tanzmuzik, Mr Okihide, has recently released two solo records on Sublime under the name CX Audio IE and two cds as Bambi Synapse on the Green label. The style of these releases is also in the floor friendly funky-techno vein but i've not heard all the Bambi Synapse releases so I cant comment on those. Oh and Tanzmuzik also did a remix for Boom Boom Satillites latest single but I havent heard that either. Anyway, I'm not really fond of the newer Tanzmuzik and related releases but it may suit others. Below is a list of the newer releases: . Tanzmuzik:Version Cities Hi Light cd/2xlp (Sublime) . Tanzmuzik: Version City Episode Rmx 12" (Sublime) . Tanzmuzik: Western Cos Rmx 12" (Sublime) . Bambi Synapse: weather forecast cd (Green) . Bambi Synapse: life cd (Green) . Bambi Synapse: another life video (Green) . CX Audio IE : 01 12" (Sublime) . CX Audio IE : 02 12" (Sublime) Related weblinks: http://www.modd.com/sublime/ http://www.greenrecords.com/ -->-Lance--- lance@inaudible.com p.o. box 450715 westlake, ohio 44145 united states --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: idm-unsubscribe@hyperreal.org For additional commands, e-mail: idm-help@hyperreal.org
