The name of the 3rd Album was going to be Klink, before in
the words of Richie Hawtin "getting back to recording Klink
became inspirationally very difficult"

Brian: Initially Richie Hawtin
conceived of a trilogy which was to
be #1: Sheet One #2: Musik #3: the third
one (name escapes me). He ended up
releasing Consumed (which was to be
his 4th release) 3rd, that is, though Consumed
was his third full length release, he really
wanted it to be his fourth. Artifacts (the BC
refers to Before Consumed) is a look at
the "missing" third release. So technically
it would have been #1: Sheet one #2 Musik
#3 some of the music on Artificacts, and then
#4 Consumed. Musik is more of an *album*,
whereas Artifacts is more of a compilation
of material that would have been on the missing
3rd album in the trilogy, plus other things.
