Its from a Language CD/2x12" pack that came out at the start of the summer.. cut from their web site... The best in Nu Skool Breaks, compiled by Language's Tony Thorpe. Very exciting & dancefloor-friendly album featuring such neo- electro/breakbeat luminaries as Freq Nasty, The Thursday Club/Rennie Pilgrem, T-Power, Buckfunk 3000, Shut Up And Dance, as well as some little-known, new acts from all over the place (the UK, Italy, Sweden, Germany, the USA), who are part of this fast-growing Nu Breaks fraternity. Its in the same vein as T-Power's recent stuff for 'Botchit and Scarper'... A little teeny bit.... more like his crunchier break beat stuff on the Chocolate Weasel record, at least the samples sound familiar to those who have heard the CW record. It's a great track though. I think Electric Kingdom comp is actually a licensed comp from SSR though it isn't mentioned anywhere in the liner notes. Since I've seen similar tracks on other peoples playlists.... Anyway, it's a nice comp... Si Begg, T Power, Simon Pyke, etc. etc. crunchy distorted stuff. Aaron
