I just noticed that the last sentence of Warp Records' web page news section (http://www.warprecords.com/warp/news/) which once said: "Expect new albums from Autechre, Aphex Twin, Mira Calix, Boards of Canada and LFO sometime before the end of the millennium." now says: "Expect new albums from Autechre, Aphex Twin, Mira Calix, Boards of Canada and LFO sometime before the end of a millennium." Sneaky bastards, aren't they? Well, they still have about 15 months until the end of THIS millennium, and you would think that five LPs during that time wouldn't be too difficult... superfuzz@home.com np: Warp 10+3

I'd expect to see that Autechre LP before any of the others. It kind of seems to me that that's all they do all day so they just pile up track after track until they can't stand it any more. I mean, doesn't it seem like LP 5 just came out? and EP7 is definitely not an EP in the common sense of the word (11 tracks as opposed to 5 or 6). And from what I've read, they're kind of a musical meat grinder where they recycle a lot of there own tunes to make new ones. Man, I'd love to sit around all day playing music.. well, I'm not saying they sit around all day. They obviously have lives. But that would be cool. -=GB=- Marc 3 Poirier wrote:

i've noticed that a lot of people have said that EP7 was such a great deal, nearly a full album, 11 tracks, etc... makes me wonder if they noticed that Ae didn't put out an ep prior to LP5, like they usually do (EP, album, EP). so it's like you got the pre- and post-LP5 EPs on one disc. * #### a disturbance in a system. #### laerm. @voicenet.com ##:# calm down my heart/don't beat so fast/don't be afraid icq:5562209 just once in a lifetime
