As many of you no doubt know, the Fax reissue of Ambiant Otaku was a success, and it's time to start thinking about Rather Interesting reissues. Roy SeGuine has graciously created a poll and hosted it at his Fax Galleria Site (http://www.usatt.org/rseguine/FAX). Click on "FAX Polls" in the left frame and then choose "Rather Interesting Reissues" from the "Additional Polls" pulldown menu. Only one vote will be allowed from any given IP address. Please do not try to "stuff" the ballot box by voting from different hosts in a lab or office--the idea here is to vote for a reissue that you would buy if it were available. I will be forwarding the results to Peter Kuhlmann (who handles all of the financials for the Rather Interesting label), so there is every reason to believe that if there are enough votes, a reissue will happen. Blah!!! good luck amigos!!! Yer gonna have to get at _least_ 500 votes or so... the only reason Senor Coconut was repressed is because the demand was soooo high! How long did it take for AOtaku??? Not trying to sound cynical, but I've discussed this issue numerous times with Uwe and seems like it'd take a lot of demand. Sounds like a great plan, I hope it worx, I'm just curious how many years it'll take he he he in the mean time you can satisfy yer ears by going to emusic.com and pay a few bux for some mp3's. It sure beats paying $85 on Ebay for a copy of DOTS (which is what it went for last month) Not that I buy from there, I hate mp3's for sound quality, but it'll be faster to RI's back catalogue if the A Otaku repress is our template for getting re-issues... You should still cast your vote, if many of you folx get in there on time maybe we won't have to wait as long as we did the first time around. 'off to cast my vote, g (dreaming of an inflatable rasta wig) "Dave @ EAR/Rational Music" wrote:
