Chemical Brothers - Surrender. It's an incredible album. Their best yet. However that may not be exactly what you mean by "psych"... surrender is very much recorded in complete worship of the Beatles - Tomorrow Knows When (as was a lot of Dig Your Own Hole). It's a really good song to worship though... As for what others may fit that bill... well there's my bloody valentine, seefeel, and bowery electric but they sort of fall into the same "summer of love" type psych as the chemical bros (not that they sound at all alike, but maybe you see my point). There are meaner things out there though... for some reason I am drawing a blank but maybe the furry things/8 frozen modules... (8FM >> furry things). There's Crescent - one of those bristol bands who are very psychy, very fuzzed out on their first record, more triphoppy on the second, not so good on the most recent... there's a hrvatski one off (i think) called gaijin... there are others but the synapses aren't firing so well right now. --- the humble abbott arthur purvis set his hand hereto

I think the wonderful Burger/Ink "Las Vegas" album would fit in this category nicely, if I understand the question correctly. At 07:34 PM 9/2/99 -0400, Arthur Purvis wrote:
