i think good packaging can be done on any budget. just figure out a cheap way to get across the idea you want. chris === __________________________________________________ Do You Yahoo!? Bid and sell for free at http://auctions.yahoo.com

no matter what though printing items is expensive. Jewel cases are cheap. Card board cases are cheap. But profesional print jobs are not. Unless you know someone.. I would rather see minimal artwork instead of great artwork that is printed badly. and yes I am guilty of that. I am not happy at all with the packaging for the mmr release. It did not come off like how I wanted. Next release will hopefully be a different story. -daniel

Like in independent film, is IS possible to make packaging look like a masterful piece of art look beautiful on a very small budget. The trick, of course, is creativity. I think the problem often is that people think they have to (A) use conventional packaging, and (B) think anything less than 4 color print jobs with inserts and booklets looks unprofessional. Obviously this is not the case.
