have you read the minidisc faq? the main trick is to NOT let the recording unit write a new TOC. http://www.minidisc.org/part_hacking.html

Arse nuggets. I completely forgot this was on. What tracks were played? Stuff from RPC, or new material? I'm just glad I managed to see them supporting Orbital earlier this year -- great stuff. -- Mark Stevens http://www.headspin.clara.net/

Were you editing on a consumer grade MD recorder (ie Sony MD 510/520)? Their slow editing functions and confusing interface can make pinpoint edits nearly impossible....sounds like you need a Pro-grade MD recorder...I do a lot of MD editing at my job and won't use anything less than a Sony MDS-B3 or B5....they're much more reliable when doing tight edits on tracks..... \|/ @--out----------*--+what-I-got-in-my-head-you-can't-buy-steal-or-borrow /|\ -Primal Scream --Paul p. It's a good job it's safely stashed away on my hard disk. All I need now is a working CD burner (f'kin Ricoh rubbish - only 13 months old..)
