The new BT album is freaking awesome imho (no I didn't like his old trance stuff but I do like Fatboy Slim sooo....). Okay, it's basically a big-beat / breakbeat album. However, the production of it sounds very similar to typical idm stuff. There is tons of dsp stuff / plugins / granular synthesis vocals going on. The quieter sections are just so rich with sounds that it feels like really good ambient idm. Anyone else heard this one? Any opinions? Are other "mainstream" electronic albums this good or is this as exception? (am I totally out of the loop?) --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: idm-unsubscribe@hyperreal.org For additional commands, e-mail: idm-help@hyperreal.org
