Sorry to post this to the list, but I was wondering what exactly some of yall use to remove dust, static, and cat hair from vinyl. My cat's shedding is rapidly turning my turntable into one big hiss and crackle machine. Thanks ahead of time for any help! And, uh, private replies appreciated so the list is not further bogged down (unless you can relate static sounds with []pusher's "jazz fusion wankery")(or cat hair with John Coltrane). There used to be such things as anti-stat turntable mats back in the day. I dunno what the *experts* recommend ( I'm all ears), but I use a light touch of good ol' d4 on a discwasher. Good? Bad? jeff James R McPherson wrote:
