i know someone *just* asked this question, and i took heed about the jungle nation, but it seems that it was specifically a question about d'n'b in the city, so i'll just ask again: anything going on in nyc this weekend? thursday/friday/sattidy nights? and is there a shows/clubs-list site anywhere i could check out? last time i went out to hear music in new york was for blech in january...and i'm feeling a bit at the end of my rope here... phil np: christophe de babalon's *brilliant* "if you're into it i'm out of it" (which seems, incidentally, to have given me the hiccups something fierce) last played: david kristian's "cricklewood," which on first few listens is really interesting. it'll be awhile before i can say anything very specific about it yet, though. last-non-this-listy-played: elliott smith, s/t --absolutely crucial. period.

If you want some techstep for free, go to Nations, on East Houston between Ave. A & B on Friday nite from 11p-1a. The Bass Quake crew will be there (Ganesh, et al.).
