In a word good. A lot like their first album but not as laid back or ambient (that is not to say it doesn't have ambient like parts; the classical passages are still in place). For those that do not know, this is not IDM. Experimental post rockish violin themed compositions. -daniel

and i, having an opinion, add: first track is a snoozer. Rick Wakeman plays Mogwai. or sum'pin. stiff as hell and portentous up the wazoo. no great shakes. their one trick sure wore thin quickly. second track isn't {as} bad. arching dramatics and Titanic-sized emotional sweeps. but you could say the same thing about Danzig's "Black Aria." not especially experimental either. unless it would be 'experimental' to reinvent white bread. mr. e. np: Musica Elettronica Viva: The Original MEV (IRML) (as potent a slab of mind-searing electr\improv now as it must have been in 1968.)

experimental if you look at it from a post rock perspective. not experimental if you look at via an electronics perspective. experimental is such a subjective term. To me meshing arabic voices, classical violin with a wall of guitar/drums is experimental. -daniel
