only thing i can think of is maybe Air (does that count?), they have a
brian wilson like vibe at times. actually there is so much of the real
stuff its not really worth looking for imitators. btw, if you haven't
already i suggest you check this page out...

go to the Smile section, download the mp3's, convert to .wav files, chop
off the crunchy bad bits in some of the songs, burn to CD and you have
an awesome copy of Smile (or close to it anywayz). i probably listen to
it more than anything else these days. is it a better album than Pet
Sounds? maybe. the version of Surfs Up on there is fucking priceless
much better than the officially released one or the one from the good
vibrations box set (though it uses elements from both).
