am I the only one, or did some of you notice as well that the version of Happy Cycling on the Warp release is slightly different than the mp3 that circulated about? maybe I'm just high, or perhaps not enough, but the broad, underlying synth bit (sorry, that's the best I can do right now) that begins at 5:26 on the Warp disc and then cuts at 6:24 (with the track continuing on to 7:50 or so) actually runs until the end of the track on the mp3, right? on the mp3 it's actually the last element of the song to fade, and one the more beautiful aspects of the track. can I get a witness on this? is the version on Matador's Music Has the Right the same? sure is nice to have these Peels in their full-blown digital glory, though. you definitely lose some of the depth and subtleties in the multi-generational copies and mp3 compression. kicking it one time, daevid j --------------------------------------------------- Get free personalized email at http://www.iname.com

I have the mp3's from Happy Cycling (Peels Session) and Happy Cycling (Matador), and your're right: The version on the Peel Session CD sounds like the one from the Matador release.
