lots of talk about this lately: should keep in mind this fact: unless it's a commercial using a "hit song" that has been licensed to be in an ad, for the rest of the ads, a musician is usually called in and told "i want you to make it sound like this hit song". so when you're often wondering, "hey, that ad sounds like so and so", it's often someone getting paid to sound like so and so cos it's cheaper than licensing an actual track from so and so. :) Andrew
