well i arrived about 6:30 and checked out atmospheric audio chair frm chicago.... good music... im not the master trainspotter so i cant point out tracks... the visuals were interesting... the whole room was covered with multiple projections done by ??? interesting....then a live art performance was done by two individuals who painted a scrolling roll of paper..then themselves.. luna sol (featuring david christopher of rabbit in the moon) was by far the highlight of the nite.... a dance troupe with cheesecloth for clothing danced around....in slo-mo. they were out of sync at times but still it created an interesting environment... OVT visuals chicago did the main room visuals... mind blowing. ranging from greenery shots and closeups to the "street scenes" of downtown chicago (the ones in which the rabbit from ritm runs down wacker drive and dodges the pesky crowd.) luna sol's performance was quite nice... varying from ambient to intelligent breaks to d&b to ?? unclassifyable... very lush sounding... all three performances at once caused me to sit there in amazement.. casey rice w/rob mazurek: rob was on stage with a variety of instruments...horns..wind instruments (flutesque...he couldnt play this at all..sounded horrific)... rice was at the sound board with his Mac doing interesting sounds...i expected a little more from this but got less...the music was flowing..almost throbbing....with chaotic noise from mazurek and his juno-60.... left before it ended to mingle.. carl.craig... whoops...did the Museum of Contemporary Art screw up? majorly... instead of having two drummers, a didjeroo player and Carl Craig as "Innerzone Orchestra"...we experienced (for the 100th time in chicago.land area) Mike Dearborn.... he was promoted as a live act according to the information booklet....but alas...he spun on two turntables...started housey..then moved to more banging material...heard it all before. he's a good dj..yes.....but as i said.. nothing new to chicago..or even the midwest. the lobby area was done by MW Burns.... created good background music...on occassion you would encounter the soudn of coins running down a metal shoot...then it would increase into noise... 2 weather balloons with a rear lcd projector shot on them...good visuals.. overall worht the 10 dollars for the event...great weekend with friends...only dissappointments: expensive drinks..no carl craig.. -mikeD

Dunno if it's the same one, but I've heard that an Air track was used in a recent L'Oreal commercial. And there's some car commercial or other using Dimitri From Paris' "Very Stylish Girl". Greg

Ha ! Funny how initially I dismissed this album as elevator muzak and now - it being hot and humid summer weather - I've come back to it and especially that opening track (La Femme d'Argent) is so mellow and pretty. I *
