Hi,
I admit it! I didn't pay attention when you were discussing kushti a while
back coz I didn't want to feel sorry for myself for not being able to listen
to it.
Anyway I just got "FreeStyle" and "Lifers" and would like to know who
exactly they are and what role does plaid play (no pun intended) there.
And who's that "daddy addy" ?!?!?
Regards,
Snow.

Eh? This is one of the most beautiful uplifting records ever made (all
three tracks, not just Stromboli).
I shake my head at you,

I hear these chaps have a new album out produced by Plaid "Secret
Handshakes" on Octopus. Seeing as how this posse are responsible for the
best IDM Drum&Bass Carnival track ever, their album should be pretty good,
right? Anyone got the lowdown?

does anyone have any additional info, or perhaps a url, which provides extra
enlightenment on the fact that the 'Kushti' album called 'secret handshakes'
(on Octopus recs, c&p 1998) is produced by Plaid?
thanks,

Plaid fans beware though -- 'Secret Handshakes' is very much dominated
by Kushti's style, so don't go buying it expecting lots of lush 'Not
For Threes' or pumping 'Android' style action. It's pretty much like a
minimalist jazz/groove sort of thing. Hard to get into, but after two
or three listens everything starts to click.
