Anyone else think Fennesz "Paint it Black" is complete genius? Like Oval with melody. I'm seeking a Fennesz discography and someone willing to part with Fennesz "Instrument" 12" (Mego)- yes. fennesz is brilliant. it's nice to see someone on this list with taste. i wouldn't compare him to oval though. not even similar especially considering oval is nothing but melody. here's a fennesz discography the best i know it. (which is fairly good.) Hotel Paral.lel cd (Mego) Fennesz Plays 7" (Mego) Il Libro Mio 3"CD (Tanz Hotel) Instrument 12" (Mego) Comp tracks include: live on Picknik Mit Hermann Chill Out (Sabotage) and one other comp...i can't remember it's name. it's sabotage's last release. Something like disentegrate. good luck on finding that. it's almost impossible. It took me months and i've finally tracked down of copy of farmers manual brilliant "fm" 12". I'm still looking for "does not compute". hope this helps, if you need to know anything else about mego or the austrian scene let me know. i'm fairly knowledgeable. (writing several papers on that topic, conversing with the artists etc.) -joshua...

pardon me there. I didn't mean to imply that the rest of you don't have taste. and oval isn't nessecarily all melody, but i wouldn't say that he's just a melodyless version of fennesz which is as far from the truth as you can get. the two are in totally different ball parks. -joshua...
