yes, a-musik is one of my favorite labels, i've got just about all their stuff except the first Schlampigietzer LP and 10" (anyone want to sell / trade these !?!) look out for the next a-musik release, a 12" from Phthalocyanine (Phthalo, former Plug Research), entitled 'Pre-Invalid' As for fx randomiz, i'm not sure which split 12" your talking about... maybe the holosud 12"?? well, IMHO, not enough complexity at all! i think that 12" is fucking horrible. sorry to burst your bubbles all, but i've been meaning to post that this record is the most derivitve piece of crap to find its way to vinyl.. even the gescom mix wears me down. I mean, i LOVED his first 12" to death, but this!?!?... supposedly it's old stuff, so i don't think it's a new direction for him or anything.

Is Bjork remix (Funkstorung/u-ziq) single available on CD ? This one is probably being discussed but...anyway: Can someone clear the confusion about the tracklisting on Plaid 12" on Clear (what tracks are on a side and what are on A side ?) and also then what are the names of these two plaid tracks on It's all becoming clear CD ? To me it is nothing clear :-) anyone understand what I meant ? New Fat Cat 12" will feature Gescom stuff, I believe another version of Viral Rival... how many Gescom tracks is on it ? is it split ep ? If so who is on other side ? thanks bye rob p.s. new gescom is really great. but I prefer keynell ep (ska007), keynell2 is so much better as original version, than Ae remix. Infect keynell2 is one of the best tracks a i've ever heard. Also isn't Mag, almost the same track as Mag on Skampler ?

Yes it is. Both mixes are on cd #1 of the 2 Hunter cd singles. The second cd has remixes by Beck & Gus Gus.

. Gescom & Ad Vanz vs Foehn: Viral 12" (Fatcat) The new Gescom 12" on Fatcat is really a three way collaborative effort between Rob Brown (Gescom/Autechre), DJ Rob Hall (Skam/ Ad Vanz), and former Third Eye Foundation member Debbie Manning. I've not heard it yet but I've seen it described as: "Formed entirely from Buck Rogers samples & slo-mo, stately string glide meets dense, micro-fractured, electronic beat-scapes." -->-Lance--- p.o. box 450715 westlake, ohio 44145 united states

It should be mentioned, though, that these singles have only been releases in France, and are therefore a little tough to find. A UK release is upcoming, but I'm not sure when. Greg

to be honest, the only thing i can suggest is the website... perhaps emailing them. i have been told numerous times that the stuff is out there.. BUT, ive never really seen it. i have the lexaunculpt 12" because alex/lexaunculpt is at KUCI quite often. same with various other isophlux releases. the lexaunculpt is some of the best stuff i have heard in sometime, and alex is consdtantly producing new material. note the bias, because, yeah, alex is a friend of mine -- but also note that i have plenty of friends that make stuff that im not all that excited about :) id recommend lexaunculpt to anyone.. with that said, both lenaunculpt and shad t scott have tracks on the new kuci benefit cd.. as does phthalocyanine/low res (under a different name.. :), phoenecia and a ton of other wacky kids..

i dont know.,. i just have the cd.. but "stutzpunkt wien 12" is the exact text on the front of the cd. as with many of my cds/lps, i wasnt even sure if this was the artist or not :) whatever.. sounds good, and thats all i really care about... and yes, i have the OR reissue, but listed mego just for a point of reference. happy hunting.. though i suspect you have more luck than a number of us :) chris.

In case it really means "Gestalt Communications", it's G-eh-s-c-o-m (with a "G" as in Gold, "E(h)" as in "Eh!", "S" as in snake, and a "Com" as in "Come To Daddy", or "Communications", for that matter :)

DIN may be the German name for ASCII, but it also stands for a specific type of audio cabling (round plug with 5 pins.) It's a standardized plug you can see everywhere from certain power supply/ adapter plugs, to MIDI cables, to electronic music making equipment sync plugs. (DIN sync, or Sync24). My guess is this is how it ties into electronic music. Nick Rejack nrejack@mailandnews.com ------------------------------------------------------------- "Both Rob and I see sound as shapes.
