Here is a press blurb i just received about the upcoming releases for Caipirinha. I look fwd to the titles but the descriptions they provide leave something to be desired. . Microscopic Sound comp cd A collection of the most cutting edge in experimental electonics, pure-tone synthesis and computer generated sound. Featuring thomas brinkmann, mike ink, ryoji ikeda, and new tracks from kim cascone, and germany's rastermusic/noton collective. . David Toop: museum of fruit cd Immediate and breathtaking, like the museum itself, odd-shaped and assymetrical, the structures suggest various natural forms - marine molluscs, armadillos, beetles or seed pods, squashed fruits fallen from a tree and eaten by insects from within, sleeping snails, even the bulging eyes of a giant creature. Composer david toop creates music that searches for "an entirely new kind of nature." - architecture as a second nature. . Unit: Hello my name is cd Out of the void comes a sound that may have htarted as a passing subway train which evolves into a hectic beat bubbling somewhere beneath the ether just outside of reach. A voice calls from some fogotten dream announcing a lush pad rising from the deep which breaks down into a breakbeat of crazed proportion... but is that really a breakbeat? 'HELLO, My Name Is...' is the perfect soundtrack for today's ADD inflicted society. . Cineplexx: posologia cd Sebastian Litmanovich (aka Cineplexx) has taken his cue from a wide array of musical influences that ranges from Miles Davis, Juan Atkins, and The Beatles to Film Noir soundtracks, erly 80's New Wave and the seductive sounds of his homeland, Argentina. He produces a sound that is unclassifiable, with elements of Ambient, Post-Rock, Techno, Jazz and a run of other styles that shouldn't work together... but somehow do. The result is this darkly beautiful album. . Duestcher Funk vol 2 comp cd No writeup on this one yet but i was told of it's upcoming release by a friend at the label. -->-Lance--- p.o. box 450715 westlake, ohio 44145 united states

Speaking of said label, I just saw a bright yellow plasitc-jacketed cd sampler in a local bin from them retailing for 7.99$....and it's well worth the meager investment. jeff Lance C McGannon wrote:
