Just got a copy of the new Swinscoe 12" on Ninja.. The title is something along the lines of "cinematic.. (something something)..". Ignoring my dismal memory, the record's beautiful.. It's really nice to hear a project coming out of England that really understands the mood and energy of 60s era jazz experiments.. the dark progressions remind me of some of coltrane's moodier bits, while the subtle digital edits keep that modern vibe.. anyhow, check it out if you can.. Everything this guy's done so far has been unusually strong.. jamie == - - - ---------------Small Fish Limited--------------- - - - England's Independent Record One-Stop Pick and Play at http://www.smallfish.co.uk All Business Inquiries: nick@smallfish.co.uk _________________________________________________________ DO YOU YAHOO!? It is pretty wicked (all bias aside), but don't go storming the stores just yet as it's not out until mid-January. Take Care Jeff
