From the moment I heard the opening of Tally Ho! (the track) I had that niggling feeling it reminded me of something - and BINGO - it's Waiting to Get You (or something similar) by Alice Cooper. Anybody out there know what I'm on about ?! I think it's somewhere right near the end of School's Out - those opening chords of Tally Ho echo the opening chords of it exactly. {smug smile now that I've cornered it}. I *

My favourite lift is the Postman Pat theme on Tango N'Vectif. Found a weird new Rephlex release today.. can't remember the title, but it was 60 telephone contact adverts on a CD. On some sub-label said on the shop sticker. Picked up the promo of Mark Van Hoen's 'Playing with time'.. it's not bad.. there's a huge 30 minute ambient track on the end. Some tracks are a bit like reverberated shoegazing stuff put through a 'cd skipping toss (C) CiM' machine. Not as polyrhythmic as what some blurb I read would suggest. Quite melodic in places.

Is it on Touch ? Also, does anyone know what is with Mark Clifford ? I'd really love to hear some of his new stuff... didn't hear anything from anyone of seefeel crew for a while. I really love 'succour' , I haven't stop playing it since the day of it's release... definitely one of my all time favourites. bye rob np: the stranger (he is definitely v/vm, like jansky is too)

He is expected to contribute a track for a tribute to Christina Ricci, a CD compilation to be released with an upcoming issue of Mindfield Records' FAQT magazine.
