dark? Hmmm for some reason I didn't hear any darkness to it, so I didn't buy it. It didn't grab me as quickly as 15 levels. I was hooked within seconds, the new strawberry whatever it's called seemed......I dunno too trip hoppish err sumpin. Maybe I need a new listen on another note: Smallfish with spine? Yes, SFWS (Small Fish With Spine) is Riz Maslen. Yes, she released an EP ('The Hilltop EP') on Apollo/R&S. And she released 4 12"s under this monicker on OMW (Oxygen Music Works, NY) and a LP on Oxygene (OMW UK). BTW, I just realized that 'Phat Girls' is one more of Riz' monickers. Those anyone of you know about more 'Phat Girls' releases beside the '15 Levels' and Mantronix remixes ? The cd will demand a little concentration from the listener. Each song is heavily layered. What you end up with is a swirl of noise, ambience, strangeness and beats. When placed together the sound becomes almost subteranean.

she has an CD on Oxygen music works called ultimate sushi. It is listed as a full album but it is only 30 min long. It is very good btw. She also has eps on oxygen music works (plus an ep<s?> on apollo>. -daniel
