This may be old news to many, but I thought I'd go ahead an mention it. There's this web site called The Sync and they have an on going film festival online. The films are separated into categories and I found a really cool one in the "Experimental" section. It's called "The Operation" and it totally blew me away (all puns intended.) It's a short film (15 minutes) that shows two people in various stages of sex in an operating room. If that's not cool enough, it's shot with a heat sensitive camera which makes it look out of this world. There is no dialogue and the music consists of some ambient that fits the mood of the visuals quite well. Check it out for yourself at: http://www.thesync.com/festival/experimental.html ---Richard D. i just visited this site -- i thought the film was very interesting actually (for a porn) it was very original. i loved the music choice in the background. i wonder who the music is by? well, i definitely voted for it!!! I've actually seen this film...it's as cool as everyone says it is, and cooler. Someone lent me a videotape titled something like "New York Independent Film Festival," which included "The Operation," so it's definitely released on tape...somewhere. Al.

Hmmm... it seemed like a porno shot on infrared film to me. Ganted, it is a novel experience to see how cold our extremities are relative to our genitals. However, that experience alone is not enough to convince me that 'the Operation' is worthy of praise for its 'artistic' qualities. I believe Vulva also recorded as Yoni. There is a great cd & an accompanying ep on Source called My Little Yoni from back in 94-95. Notice the Yoni in the title of the new Vulva album title. Are there other Yoni releases i'm missing? -->-Lance--- p.o. box 450715 westlake, ohio 44145 united states
