Bought some stuff, got some questions: #1. Substancia 2 comp (sub rosa)- on the A- side theres a track by _Rip Off Artist_. Rip off is right!!! these peeps rip off from Uwe Schmidt/aka Atom. But hey that's a great thing. Anyone know if Rip off artist has a full length out? I believe the Substancia 2 comp says there's something forthcomming but if there's something out now, lemme know.... #2. Mira Calix new Lp- I bought the thing cuz I noticed that track 3 on side B is called _Ithanga_ which I had unfortunately thought was the title of that rare 10inch that came out like 4years ago (no not Pin Seeking, before that!). WHAT IS THE TITLE of that old song/10" that has a sample saying: "DO, the things that people say you can not do.... the things that people say you can not do..." (btw if anyone wants to sell that 10" whatever it's called name yer price buddy!) #3. Railway Raver (rephlex) bought it for the nostalgia mostly. Did all the releases come with an extra 7"??? anyone know? I have a feeling it is a ltd/extra bonus thing. no big deal really, just curious. #4. Arovane- FWD I picked up my 3rd arovane called FWD. I have a 7" and something on Din records what I'm a missing? That would be 'Ilanga', WAP83. The tracks on it are 'Humba' and 'Khala', 'Humba' being the track you are referring to. There's a slice of 'Humba' also on 'Blechsdöttir', WARPCD44, track 16.5 (half a track :), marked up as unreleased. Of course, 'Ilanga' counters that claim, released after 'Blechsdöttir' in 1996. The second Calix 2x10" was 'Pin Skeeling', just to pick a nit.

'Humba' is a bit too aggressive for me, but 'Khala' is just too good a track to let go of, sorry. I'll consider a trade if you can fish out a copy of Oliver Ho's 'Chapter 1' (Meta [UK] M001, on vinyl, of course) for me :). The Calix has a beautiful embossed silver sleeve, too.

It was advertised by several shops that there is a limited edition of the album with a bonus 7", but everyone I know who bought it (including me) got the bonus 7". Limited edition, humbug. The track you are looking for is 'llanga' which is backed with 'Khala'. I checked on warpnet but they dont have any realaudio snippets of this one.. :(
